The easiest thing to do in those situations is to motivate yourself into going for 10 minutes. Once you get going, you will often notice yourself feeling better and maybe you?ll complete the workout. Even if you do a shorter session, you?ve shown good commitment by overcoming a barrier and you have continued your new habit.

Through Ask the Expert, individuals can e-mail a question to, and receive a reply from, University experts with knowledge of exercise programs, eating habits, managing stress and overall general health. Online forms are available for members to e-mail a question on the Rec?s Ask the Expert Web page.

Members will now be able to see some of these answers online.
